Past Research

I have been working in the fields of Computer Vision and Medical Image Processing with a special interest into 3D geometry and topology, shape and motion reconstruction, transformation groups, joined geometric and statistical modeling. My work has focused on providing new tools and techniques for the needs of other domains: video post-production and special effects during my PhD, Archaeology at the Shape Lab, and currently Medical Imaging (please visit the websites of MIRAGES, the SHAPE Lab and the MedIC for additional information on the related projects). Here is some information on the projects I have been working on in the past. My newest work is described in the Current Projects.

Digital Recording of Archaeological Features:
the Petra Campaign
Wall Drawer

3D Reconstruction of Motion for Augmented Reality

The Light Ray Representation for Shape and Motion

Tracking Lines, Rectangles and 3D Corners in Video

Custom-built Invariants for Shape and Motion Analysis
